Prehospital Paradigm is dedicated to the education of all providers in the prehospital care of patients. This endeavor was started by John Hill, MD, Scott Wildenheim, Paramedic, Caleb Ferroni, Paramedic, and Ray Pace, Paramedic, with the release of the first podcast in 2023. The Prehospital Paradigm Podcast was the original focus of this group. We then expanded the Prehospital Paradigm to include all the various publications and trainings provided under the UH EMS umbrella, and to begin to seek out collaborators for additional content for this site. This umbrella vision will include all FOAMed produced by UH EMS.
This month, we welcome Kyle Schnarrs, Flight Nurse, and Nathan Brazytis, Flight Paramedic, from the UH AirMed critical care transport system. In the first of a 4-part series, they discuss how to become a flight paramedic/nurse as well as answer many questions about air medical transport including a day-in-the-life-of! #prehospitalparadigmpodcast
